This craft is simple, yet the kids love it and it produces a refrigerator-worthy product. I did this with grades 1-6, but the ideal ages for this craft is grades 1-3.
Items Needed:

Blue construction paper

White crayon and various other crayon colors

Scizzors
-
Glue
-
Glitter glue of any color

Mitten template printed on cardstock

Snowflake printed on white cardstock or paper
Directions:

Cut out the mitten template that was printed on carstock

Trace the template onto the blue construction paper using a white crayon

Fill in the missing lines of the mitten with the white crayon, then draw in other designs as desired

Color the patterns on the mitten using other colored crayons

Draw the snowflakes around the mitten with white crayon

Cut out the snowflake

Place a dot of glue in the middle of the snowflake and glue it onto the mitten

Use glitter glue to draw a single line in the center of the snowflake
