My son is 3-1/2 and is really showing an interest in writing his letters and numbers. His grandma got him a preschool workbook for Valentine’s Day and he loved it… Until it was finished. Once the pages are written on kids don’t want anything to do with them! Somewhere along the way, I got the idea to laminate worksheets so that my son can do them over and over again. A while back I had gotten an old preschool workbook at a second-hand store that was not written in yet. I combined some of those pages with some pages from the internet, laminated them, and put them in a binder. I found dry erase colored pencils (washable) at the store, which I thought would be way better than markers. And for an eraser I used a piece of felt. So far, it’s working out great!
Now my son can practice writing his letters and numbers, and I don’t have to keep buying those expensive books at the store or using up all the ink out of my printer!
