What is the meaning of the name “Mossy Elm”?
The name “Mossy Elm” was selected based off of one of my favorite Bible verses, Colossians 2:7- “Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”
I knew I wanted my name to reflect a tree, and I chose the Elm tree because it is known to be strong, long-lasting, and resistant to rot and weather. There is an elm tree in New York that is estimated to be more than 650 years old.
